Today's Inspiration: Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved but abides forever. Psalm 125:1. If you can rejoice in what heaven is recording about your life, you are blessed indeed.
Courage is a demonstration of faith that Joshua was prompted by God to have to possess the promised land. Joshua 1:6. The Lord never promised that His ways would be easy but He has assured us that His ways are worth investing in. Until you suffer a defeat, you tend to think you can do it all. Joshua experienced defeat because of lack of discernment and his failure to seek the Lord at the conquest of Ai. It's the suffering that made him ruler of much more as he sought the Lord in each battle.

Very few Christians and even some leaders have true gift of discernment to discern truth of the present or the past. Even with this gift it is difficult. Until we have been stripped, we tend to judge others through distorted prejudices, either positive or negative. That is why we are warned not to judge before the time. Matthew 7:1. The wisest request you can ever made is to ask God to judge you so you could serve Him more perfectly.
The higher you climb to get closer to God like Moses the more favored you are. Moses chose the ascent to the Lord at every difficult period on Earth and this is why he was given the honor to witness much miracles in his life. Even up to the end of his life he was so healthy because his latter half of his life was focused on seeking audience with the Lord by ascending to the throne room. The accent may be a rough path but it is worth its weight in gold. There is a call for us to climb and to build and if we are faithful we will be given the honor. Throughout my journey, the path of greatest risk is the path that led to the greatest reward.
Prayer: Lord grant me the gift of discernment that I might assess every event accurately. Let not fear, insecurity and self-centeredness be a hindrance to my journey with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
