25 December 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.“ Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Obedience is always better than sacrifice, so does teachability over capability. Pride is always a stumbling block to failure and anger is always the pathway of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9. Wisdom makes one wise person more powerful than ten rulers in the city. So don’t always pay attention to every word people say; or you may hear your servant cursing you. v21. Do not be reactive to the flesh but sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Prayer helps us to keep focus on Christ and calmness can lay great offences to rest. For peacemakers are the children of God. Matthew 5:9 Wisdom teaches not to chase after riches or trust in one’s cleverness for they will be gone in a glance. Proverbs 23:5 When one’s heart is wise, his innermost being will rejoice, and his lips shall speak what is right. Surely there is a future for you and hope will not be cut off. v18 The Wisdom of God is the Holy Spirit who directs our hearts and our words to bring healing to the sick, comfort to the broken, and refuge to the lost. Remember this, Wisdom is not easily offended, distracted or shaken but is the bulwark and rampant of love, faith and hope in the Lord. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, as the deep calls upon the deep so does my soul longs for your presence, glory and wisdom. For your ways are higher than mine, so does your understanding; as the heavens are higher than the earth, so does your wisdom and words, surpasses all. Let my soul be profitable in all the works you have placed in my hands. May I do all things for the glory of God, and my boast is only in the Name of Lord, in Jesus Name, Amen.
