Today‘s Inspiration: ”For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.“. Hebrews 4:2. Faith is not a past or a future word but one which brings the wonder working power of Christ into our present situation, circumstances and challenges. God has His plans to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future. Faith brings forth not just words but actions, just as healing comes from repentance; testimonies comes from testings and reaping comes from sowing.
Daniel spoke,” The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.“ Daniel 11:32. One of the greatest spiritual hurdle and bondage to breakthroughs is self-pity, doubts and unbelief. Self-pity is pride, attention seeking and self centeredness. It will hinder you from stepping out, steeping up, and steeping through. Psalmist proclaim,” You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.” Psalms 91:13. We shall trample over pride and fear, which is self-pity and procrastination. Faith will always give us a new measure of confidence and vision to trust God for advancement, acceleration, and addition through godly actions. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me of any self-pity and give me a new measure of faith to advance and ascend in the kingdom of God. Lead me to do great exploit by faith and wonders by your Word. Cause me to step into your deeper waters, stretch forth my staff by faith and it shall part like the Red Sea and Jordan River. Let every word of God be mixed with faith to believe in you and do greater things for the kingdom of God, in Jesus Name, Amen.
