Today‘s Inspiration: “My message (Apostle Paul) and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.“
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NASB. Our faith can only move mountains when we believe not just in the Word of God but in the Power of God. It is not just about affirmation but actions that we shall see the glory of God! The will of God is for us experience and encounter the power of the His Holy Spirit working in us, with us and through us. Acts 1:8.
Why do we need the power of God? It is the very purpose Jesus, the only begotten son of God came to do for you and me. To restore the power and dominion which God has predestined us to have in prayer and authority. He said,”The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8. Many who are walking in sin are spiritually dead and only the power of the Holy Spirit can bring convictions, confession and consecration in the hearts with salvation and sanctification of souls. So don’t just read the Bible, pray and proclaim His Word till your bellies, heart and spirit is filled with His Power, Fire and Rivers of Healing and Hope. John 7:38. The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. We are predestined for His Kingdom, Power and Glory forever!
Prayer: O Lord my God, your Holy Spirit helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Let there be a power breakthrough now in my spirit man, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
