23 December 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: God's compassion's fail not. Through His mercies we are not consumed. Lamentations 3:22. Let His word of encouragement sink in deep into your soul that you can overcome any emotions of negativity and win the race.

It is through Jesus' death and Resurrection that has conquered all the powers of hell. This enabled us to walk in victory and power over death and all its forms - spiritual, emotional and physical. Hence, the cross did not secure only our salvation, but all of Satan's power that broke the Dominion of the curse. What a privilege to be a child of God who inherits this victory! The enemy of our soul will work extremely hard to distract us from our calling. All we need is to know who we serve.

God did not just want us to experience Him only, but He desires of us that we live life to the fullest to be holy meaning we live a life of purity, passion and power. Our lips should not speak delinquent words that harm others, but only words of edification, encouragement and comfort. Living in condemnation and guilt is not God's will for your life. Live a life of purity and detach the old label and replace it with a new label - a resurrected nature. Old garments must be left behind or they form excess baggage that will hinder your moving forward. Cast your cares upon Him. 1 Peter 5:7.

Whoever walks with Jesus will not walk in darkness. When you walk in the light, His blood cleanses you continually from all sins (1 John 1:7), entitling you to an abundant life on earth and in eternity. Past baggages must be buried so that they are out of sight. We tend to get into past baggages because we don't recognize them and neither see the importance of burning them till they are unretrievable.

It is God who declared light to shine out of darkness. For our light affliction is only for a moment and is working for us, a far more exceeding and external weight of glory. Do not look at things which are seen, but look at things which are unseen; for the things that are seen are temporal, unlike the things that are unseen that is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18. Walk by faith not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. God be praised.

Prayer: Lord grant us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name Amen.
