Today’s Inspiration: “As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man.” Proverbs 27:19 NKJV. Spiritual grow and maturity is accomplished through inner questioning, reflections and convictions. Man struggles when he or she seeks people or things to resolve their inward struggles but it is futile to God. Psalm 94:11. A man cannot be corrected without convictions, so does a life cannot be transformed without sanctification, the consecration of the heart.
Words are the formation of life because God did so in creating the world and us with His love. Spiritual awakening comes when we are able to discern by the Holy Spirit on our daily complains, grumbles and resentments which are not pleasing to God. A man’s word either builds or breaks the world around him. God’s Word is like a mirror which reveals a man’s life. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Matthew 12:34. Jesus taught,” Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Matthew 15:11. It’s only through repentance, can one’s heart, words and life be really changed and be transformed through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Glory to God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, reveal my heart of any negativity as I repent for all my words which were not pleasing to you. Cleanse my tongue as you did for Isaiah and change my heart as you did for David. May the Words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing unto you. Lead me in your everlasting and loving ways, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
