Today’s Inspiration: Our relationship with God is intimately related to our relationship with others around us, especially family. “We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.” 1 John 4:19-21. So can we love a brother or sister who has deeply hurt us, betrayed us or even hate us? It is definitely difficult but the right question is that can we love God?

We can’t love God if we are not able to know that He first loved us and gave his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so that whoever believed in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 Love is not just an emotion or feeling, it is a person of sacrifice for fellows brothers and sisters in the kingdom of God.

Until we see the Cross and the Blood of Jesus, we will not truly know love, who is God. Until we know we are a sinner, we will never know what is grace and mercy, who is Christ. He carried our sins, curses and hardened hearts at Calvary, that we may too be like Him to knows the Father’s love. For its no longer I who lives but Christ lives in me. Gal 2:20 It’s never too late to forgive, and never too early to repent. Love never fails.

Prayer: O Lord My God, for your love and peace which surpasses all knowledge and understanding, is able to guard my mind and heart from hatred, resentment and anger. Let me learnt to deny self, carry thy Cross, and follow you to love and heal, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
