Today‘s Inspiration: ”A man’s steps are of the Lord; How then can a man understand his own way?“ Proverbs 20:24 NKJV. Most of our life answers are found inside of us rather than outside of us. The world pursue the material and temporal things but the kingdom searches for the spiritual and eternal things of God. To grow in the Spirit is not about having more ministries, or accolades of achievements like building up the superstructure. On the contrary, we grow spiritually is not about adding but removing what is not of God within, which are the substructures of our lives. How is the foundation of your faith? Is there more of Christ?
In this era, we saw great men of God fell in the news because they have nice superstructure of ministry but they do not deal with the substructure of their souls. It is the inner and personal and private life that God sees, which is our attitude, behaviour and character. Apostle James taught,”Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.“ James 1:21-25.
Prayer: O Lord my God, may the fear of the Lord be the lamp to my feet and light to my path. As the deep calls unto the deep, direct my soul by your Holy Spirit. Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
