Today’s Inspiration: “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.” Matthew 10:1. What the Church is today is not just a religious lifestyle but a radical empowered life by the Holy Spirit. We are not called to be a spectator of God’s working miracles but a contributor to be used by Him to bring healing and salvation to the World.
The difference between the Pharisees and the disciples of Jesus is about giving their lives for Christ. The gospel is not about words but about power of God. 1 Corinthians 4:20. We will not be saved if someone didn’t share the gospel with us boldly about salvation and healing. They were filled with the Spirit of evangelism and spiritual gifts of God. Jesus taught, “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8. All these signs shall follow the preaching of the gospel. Will you be willing to receive the gifts of the Spirit? Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find and knock it shall be open unto you. Matthew 7:7.
Prayer: O Lord my God, manifest your presence in my prayers, worship, and my fellowship. Let me be bold to preach and share the gospel of thy power. We are not just speaking into the air but given the spiritual weapons to pull down strongholds and break bondages, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
