Today’s Inspiration: “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.” Luke 6:43-44 NIV. Most of our life encounters are not the results of what we studied, trained or earned but rather the conditions of our hearts and it’s inwards utterances or echoes. We don’t realise that everyday we speak more words inwardly that outwardly. They can either be living waters from Christ or dirty waters from the flesh. John 7:38. Our future and destiny are intimately rooted with the Words we speak and those spoken into our lives. If fact, physical sicknesses, financial challenges and relational brokenness are caused by Words.
Jesus taught,” A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” Luke 6:45. Only the Holy Spirit can help us discern the daily words we used and we need God’s daily bread to pray and proclaim, keeping His commands in our hearts so that we do not sin. Psalm 119:11. God has created us to be a blessing to our families, the body of Christ and to shine His love into the world. But sin has caused many to curse and hate in deep bitterness. There was a lady who came for healing and she has been to many services in different churches but couldn’t see healing taking place and the Holy Spirit revealed to her in inner healing that she has unclean lips and suddenly she broke down into tears because she used to curse herself, sibling and in-laws. Lo and behold, healing redemption took placed. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me be a tree that bears good fruit through always keeping your divine word of blessings in my heart and on my lips. Forgive me if I had carelessly or intentionally spoken any unkind words or curses in the past. Let my repentance and recompense be pleasing to you and remove the heart of stone within me, replacing with your heart of unfailing love and forgiveness, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
