18 May 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Prayer doesn’t come from babbling of Words but dealing with our mind and our heart. Our past wounds, pains and failings can be lids of blockages to fulfil our God given purpose and potential in the Kingdom of God. Never walk in the path of self condemnation for in Christ, there is no condemnation because we chose to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Romans 8:1.

One can only walk in the Spirit through Prayer. Prayer connects our hearts with our Abba Father in heaven supernaturally. Prayer helps us to love the word, the presence and the communion of God. “For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.” I John‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬-‭23‬. This day we rebuke all voices of condemnation with the amour of God’s protection and put new actions through prayer.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let forgiveness and repentance come quickly in my spirit and my mouth. Let my prayers not be hindered by sins, sufferings and sorrows but be lifted up by love, faith, and hope in your Name. If I cherish sin in my heart, you will not have listened. Therefore I come not in my flesh for it has been crucified with Christ with my sins, but I come in my spirit to yield to your commands, purpose and will, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
