Today’s Inspiration: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6 NIV. Christ is the author and the finisher of our faith. Salvation is not a ticket to heaven but on contrary a journey of faith with Christ. Many desire to have great faith but few truly understand how to build up faith. For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. Christ is not just a preacher of faith but also a demonstrator of faith in God. He who has faith draws divine healing and revelations from the Lord. How Jesus exemplifies faith? Why do all the disciples want to increase their faith?
A Christian life not about eating and drinking, feeling happy and blessed. A born again spirit filled believer of Christ is compelled by His love and compassion for souls who are sick, lost, poor and needy. The scripture teaches us to have more faith and the key is to have more love of God in our Spirit. Love in the scripture is not about our carnal and temporal love that changes. God’s love is eternal and changes not. His love is demonstrated through the life of Christ, with deep compassion and enduring faith. Apostle Paul taught,” For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.” Galatians 5:6. A fulfilling life of one who sows, sacrifices and serves like our Lord Christ Jesus.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me lesser and your love be greater in my soul. May the works of my hands and the words of my mouth give you glory daily. Teach me to love one another through forgiveness and be patient of your time and season of miracles. For you are greater than my heart and in your love, I found my faith and increased my strength. In God I shall trust, to walk by faith with all my heart and not by sight in Jesus' Name, Amen.
