Today’s Inspiration: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:1-3.
Faith is not about what your think or feel but what you believe and trust in God. Proverbs 3:5. Our words reflect our faith daily and it is the substance of what we were created for by God to fulfil on the earth. Our faith is intimately connected to our destiny and testimony. For the old shall dream dreams, the young shall see visions and the sons and daughters shall prophesy. Joel 2:28. Peter was just a fisherman but when He encountered Jesus, He gave his natural nets for a spiritual one for souls. He repented and led a life of giving. And on the day of Pentecost, 3000 families were saved in a single day! A fulfilling life is not how much you have but how much you are willing to give your substance. Faith and giving are the sign posts of your calling and fruitfulness in following Christ. Faith produces miracles, healing and wonders. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, give me a new measure of faith to trust and follow you. May the lips of my mouth be filled with the substance of your Word. Let me not think of myself but of others to share Christ with them just as how you have loved, healed and saved me. Let my giving be of substance and be pleasing before you like Abel, Abraham, and Anna in Jesus' Name, Amen.
