Today’s Inspiration: Behind every victory is a victorious spirit filled with faith. 1 John 5:5. Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. V4. As Christians we proclaim we love God and we love each other. We need to recapture what it means to love God. John emphasizes three key points in 1 John 5:1-5.
Loving relationships is key to abundant living even in this fallen world. Whether a home is loving or not depends on the lady of the house. Behind every organised home is a virtuous and godly wife. She is the spirit that places everything in place so that the home will not fall apart.
The Bible makes it clear that the husband-wife relationship is a lifelong exclusive one. It is more important than parent-child relationship. So is our relationship with God as we are bride to His Son Jesus Christ. We are to die to self before our exclusive heart can be connected totally to our Lord and savior, the redeemer of this world. God be praised for an awesome living God that moves beyond comprehension.
Prayer: Lord wherever we go and whatever we do, You are there with us. You know every heart. How precious are Your thoughts to me! To whom can we go from your spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? In Jesus’ name, Amen.
