Today's Inspiration: If we live in the spirit, we must walk in the spirit. Galatians 5:26. A garden worth having is a garden worth weeding so we must keep our hearts free from evil thoughts and inclinations. We must demolish any arguments and pretension that set itself up against the knowledge of God. 2 Corinthians 10:5. Building on the Rock is wisdom and yields a harvest.

Planting on ground without a foundation may work for a season but will not withstand stormy weather, drought or hardship. Therefore on this first day of Chinese New year shatter old thinking that keeps the roots of your faith from going deeper.
As a spirit, we must feed on spiritual food that waters the dry ground of our heart, sustains and nourishes our bodies and our souls. Stay in the word regularly. Prayer and repentance are important tools of a believer. Journaling may cover patterns or habits that need to be broken. What tools are you using to prepare your heart? Even when you encounter others who are hard hearted, remain humble and loving. Treat those the way you want to be treated.
The clutter that kept us out of control is bitterness, unforgiveness and anger. These are blockages that can be buried deep in your hearts. It's good to uproot them so that God can cultivate your heart soil again. God be praised.
Prayer: I give you the hardness of my heart so that you can cultivate it for me to bear fruit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
