12 December 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: Galatians 6:9 advised us not to grow weary in doing good to all, especially those who are of the household of faith. This was the verse I used for a couple who consistently and daily is in conflict with each other. This verse has reconciled them ever since and they started living in the power of unity for fear of the Lord caught up with them.

We are to live in righteousness and wisdom to model after Jesus. We teach the Torah but failed to live according to the lifestyle of Jesus at times when the going is tough. Believers today quit church because of disagreement with each other or due to insubordination with church elders. Apostle Paul wrote so much about unity of faith in the Body of Christ because it is a family of Christ classified as the Church.

It's time Christians work together as one body to bring salvation to the lost. This is the heartbeat of our Lord that pleases Him. The church has failed to place souls as a priority, resulting in weakness to impact the world. God has given us each a measure of faith. Romans 12:3. Jesus spoke about faith even as small as a mustard seed can move mountains in Matthew 17:20.

We need to have faith because it is a precious commodity that drives us to trust in miracles even when circumstances do not show it's possibility. Mountain in this context is rulers and authorities of the land. Ezekiel 36:1. But in Jesus time when his disciples could not cast demons out of the child, the mountains refers to demonic powers or authority afflicting the child. What Jesus is saying is that nothing can hold back your victory.

With above assurance, Israel has witnessed so much miracles in the feasts of the Lord. With the celebration of Hanukkah tomorrow it is to commemorate the celebration of miraculous victory of Israel in 1967. Most of the miracles occur during feasts of the Lord. Since we are now in the season of the feast of Hanukkah where we will celebrate it tomorrow morning, I pray that those attending will receive their miracles. God be praised.

Prayer: Abba Father, thanks for Your compassion always upon Your children granting miracles of health and wealth. I pray for your presence tomorrow morning when we celebrate Hanukkah in commemoration of Your goodness to bring victory to Israel. In Jesus name. May we experience more miracles that Your name be glorified continuously. In Jesus name Amen.
