“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:5-6‬ ‭

Prayer is the call of God to have a personal relationship with Him. Many of us make the mistakes of telling the whole world of our troubles, and this causes more problems especially online. We have to close the door to the world in order to open the door to God’s kingdom and His presence. Prayer is the secret of our soul where communion is prepared and established by God. Psalm 91:1. Without discipline to pray there is no spiritual life. It is not how good we pray either but how fervent and zealous we pray for the lost, the sick and poor. Matthew 9:13. Jesus came to call not for the righteous but for the sinners.

Prayer changes our attitude, behaviour, and character, to bring hope to our families, community, and Nation. Let’s make every opportunity to draw near to God in prayer. Get to that secret place, for the Lord our God shall meet us there.

To God be the glory!

With Love Always,
