Where do we begin?

How do we begin to be true disciples of Jesus Christ? It is to begin to be disciples of His preaching, teaching, and healing through His Word, the Bible, which is the living Word of God.
A sure sign of spiritual growth and maturity is the hunger and thirst for the Word of God in the Spirit and less of the world of fleshly pursuits. Christ begins to take precedent in one’s life, decisions, and character development. The Word of God brings forth convictions and reflections for our inner reformations and renewal of mind.
Apostle Paul spoke, "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11. Praise God!
