What You Say Matters

“Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭84:4-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Words are powerful in our lives. They can break or they can build. They can curse or they can bless. The most powerful prayer is praises in difficult times or trials and testings. Praise arises strength in our spirit man and sets our hearts back to our faith in God. Valley “Baka” is also called “Weeping” where there is calamity, sorrow and trials. But it is also where you find your greatest strength in praises and spirit where God matters most, and we decided to do so not because we felt or think so but because God is whom I trust, my spring and my rain.

Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing to God in prayers, petitions and praises. Philippians 4:6. God is able to turn all my cup of tears into sheaves of joy. Break all the curses, afflictions, arguments, and accusations in our lives. Guard our tongue and use it for your glory always and daily.

To God be the glory!
