True and the False Prophet

Today one of the most popular and exciting portal in social media or ministry is the prophetic. In all uncertainties of the world and chaos happening around us today, we all want to know what’s going to happen next in our lives. And the devil also knows it. So how to discern?

Jesus taught,"By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them." Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭16-20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

A true prophet has the fear of the Lord with both the calling and character of Christ Jesus. Observe how they handle their marriage and their children in the ways of the Lord. Discern their attitude, behavior and character whether are they living according to the Word and image of Godliness. Don’t just be awe of accuracy but be aware of the attitude towards God and man.
