Time to Profess

“The lips of a king speak as an oracle, and his mouth does not betray justice. Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord; all the weights in the bag are of his making. Kings detest wrongdoing, for a throne is established through righteousness.” Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus once addressed the prideful Pharisees, "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of." Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭33‬-‭34.‬ ‭

Jesus knew not just the words of our lips but He sees the deep things of our hearts. It’s only a heart that is fully consecrated to Christ that is able to profess the wisdom of God through His word and teachings by the Holy Spirit. May all our words be salted by His grace and our spirit be lifted up by His wisdom for it is better than strength. Ecclesiastes 9:16.

To God be the glory!
