Thoughts to prosper me…

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster." Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God has our best welfare in His mind but many a times, we can’t see things from His perspective but from our own perception, which can be hindered by fear, doubts and unbelief.


We cannot really know God without knowing Him as a father. Paul said not many have good fathers or some might even have lost their fathers. But we have a loving father who knows us better than ourselves. Jesus taught, "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬


So let’s commit ourselves and time to God in prayer and let Him establish what is best for us, for He is more generous than anyone we could imagine. Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. Psalms‬ ‭127‬:‭1.‬ ‭But if we get into His Word and thoughts, we shall prosper in His ways which are higher than ours. Praise God!
