The Promise of the Baptism of Holy Spirit

“On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts‬ ‭1:4-5‬ ‭

Holy Spirit baptism is promise of Christ before his ascension, directing the apostles towards a full empowerment and endowment for their ministry and the extension of the kingdom God. Many new believers or even old believers surprisingly didn’t realise the importance of the Baptism of Holy Spirit. It is like knowing that God gave you a secret weapon in your arsenal and you not realising and using it. Baptism of Water is unto Repentance to God through a minister, but Baptism of Holy Spirit is unto Resurrection of a New Life and Creation through Jesus Christ. He is your Baptizer of Holy Spirit. Praise God!

God desires all of us to be baptized by Holy Spirit and if you have not experienced it, let hands be laid upon you by your pastoral overseers and be immersed in the Spirit of God. Life is never going to be the same again. Acts 8:17. God’s Church will be filled with power of Holy Spirit.

To God be the glory!
