“All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them, giving each the blessing appropriate to him.” Genesis 49:28 NIV.
What the Church today is lacking is the Father’s Blessings, this is because the devil is all out to remove fathers in the picture. It is an old deception just like how the serpent could use Eve to deceive Adam.
God’s original design for Fathers is to take authority and dominion over the household and be the priest of the family. He is charged with imparting the blessings down the descendants. Therefore there is an urgency to pray for the awakening of Fathers in our Nation. We are not undermining the Mothers for without them, we won’t see much of the Church today. But we believe the full image of God comes as one when all the Fathers and Mothers are united as One to bless, pray and impart their prophetic utterance over the generations to come. That’s when three cords are not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12.
We have to build strong souls before we can build strong families. Souls that believed and recipients of the Father’s Blessings. Likewise strong parenting comes from strong marriages and this is also where the family and marriage altars are to be built to become a strong Nation, which honours God. We have to pray that all our descendants will have godly marriages.
