Spiritual Maturity

“We speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:6-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Shalom! Blessed Happy New Year 2022 to all trinitarians and families! As the year opens up, let our eyes be on Christ to ask for His wisdom and Holy Spirit to lead us closer to Him. Spiritual maturity and wisdom comes from being more aware of God’s working in our lives. How can He use us more in the family, marketplace and missions? Maturity also comes from walking more according to His Word for it hides the wisdom and marvel of God. Maturity also comes in price of selflessness. How can I be lesser and God be greater? John 3:30. How can I spend more time with God and His Word?

God’s original spouse as one flesh and family. It’s a profound mystery. Be submissive.

Let us set off on a new journey towards spiritual growth and maturity in 2022. Make changes in life to put God first. Matthew 6:33. Maybe replacing video or online time with prayer, worship or fellowship. Reach out to an unsaved friend, colleague or relative to share Christ. I believe you will experience and encounter more of the Holy Spirit. Be fruitful and multiple! Genesis 1:28.

To God be the glory!
