We always relate this to believers and pre-believers. But as we mature and grow in Christ, His Word for the end of times of our generation is an important admonition for the Church.

Today we are seeing more Churches looking like the world than a Church looking like the Kingdom of God. We want to hear a message that motivate us, rather than a sermon that convicts us. We come to be entertained but not being equipped for the missional work of God. We become a crowd that seeks excitement rather than a congregant that seeks discipleship. Galatians 2:20

The Word of God has the power to change a person’s attitude, behavior and character. It is for correction, rebuke and also encouragement in righteousness. Repentance is a narrow road because few finds it and does it to deny self, carry the Cross and follow Jesus.
