Guard the Mouth

“When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭15:10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Most of our life problems comes from the Words of our Mouths more than any other things added together. Blessings and Curses come from the same tongue and it can be generational. Words can cause fear or raise faith in our spiritual walk and growth as a disciple of Christ. Although Jesus was addressing to the hypocrisy of the religious leaders, He was also warning his disciples to guard their tongue from defilement.

No one could say they have never lied, curse, criticise or release vulgarities in their life. Only the change of our Words through repentance, forgiveness and humility can bring salvation to the homes and families. May the Lord’s living waters arise from our bellies and heart to bring healing, transformation and sanctification to our lives as a witness and testimony. John 7:38.

To God be the glory!
