Be it Yes or a No, they are answered when we pray. So "Yes" means it isn’t without challenge, and "No" doesn’t mean it’s not good, for God is wise and sovereign.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
Prayer is not about getting what we want but knowing what God wants, which is best for us. Spiritual maturity comes from understanding what is prayer and making intercession. It is a deep relationship with God.
Jesus taught his disciples that in order to follow Him, they must first deny themselves, carry the Cross and follow Him. Luke 9:23. This principle shall change our attitude towards prayer and begin to understand the deeper truths of God through His Word. When we follow Christ, He becomes the Shepherd, and we become the sheep.
