God has called the Church to be a producer of disciples and disciples, not just a consumer of blessings and providence.
In Genesis 1:28, God image is always in the nature of fruitfulness and abundance. "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." Psalms 34:8-10. Good stewardship increases God’s provisions for the extension of His kingdom.
Sowing and reaping are the principle of continuous providence and sustenance in Kingdom of God. God always prospers those who are sincere, faithful and generous in the Spirit.
