We live in the world that is so strong in opinions and self consumed that one can so easily be deceived.
When we no longer need to read the Word of God, our spiritual life goes into slumber. We can hear God’s word on Sunday but doesn’t apply on other days. Why are there scams of millions and billions today? These people are not only highly educated but also financially sound. It’s all about greed and covetousness, the lovers of money that the Lord warns in His Word of Wisdom.
Don’t pursue to be rich in the world but to be rich in God by being doers of the Word and not just hearers. It’s only living our faith in actions that we are truly disciples and followers of Christ Jesus. Faith in actions is about Christlikeness and doing what God wants us to do according to His Word to bless the poor.
