Divine Confirmation

“But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Faith is absolute. Jesus taught, “All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.” Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭37.‬ ‭The problem we face in making decisions is always our flesh. What we want and what pleases God can be very different. When we choose to make godly decisions, He gives us peace and security.


God’s commands, instructions and wisdom is always "Yes" if we follow His Word. When we choose the tree of life, we no longer toggle between good and evil. Praise God!
