Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.” 1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV
Being successful is just a destination or ending but a beginning to know God’s kingdom purpose for your life. His message for those who has much, much will be required. Similarly between the rich man and Lazarus, who one is blind to the poor ends up in hell and the poor who believed in God, has eternal life. Luke 16. Our purpose and identity is deeply planted by the skillful hands of our creator. One of the greatest kingdom purpose is to build a strong foundation for the next generation to follow Christ and be a Kingdom builder.
What is the foundation inside of you? Is it the Kingdom, yourself or the wealth you have? Jesus taught, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35. Willingness to be used by God wholeheartedly brings great joy and purpose in one’s life. Our foundation must be built on Christ alone, our surest faith, hope and love. For He is the way, truth and life. Praise God!
