“So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.” Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV
Why is all things falling apart in life? What is this Pandemic teaching us? That’s what happened to the Israelites. They wanted to be free from slavery and hardship in Egypt but they still cling on to their fleshly desires in the wilderness. They left Egypt but Egypt didn’t leave them. You may have left the place of sin but have sin left you? Have lust, pride, anger, and jealousy left you when you repented. Are you still carrying the bitterness, unforgiveness, toxic perceptions and resentment wherever you go? Remember God knows your heart better than you do. It’s time to let go and let God work inside of you. Don’t react to the past, but reach to the hands of Yeshua.
Humble yourselves, and let God cloak you with humility and the garment of praise. Isaiah 61:3. It is not easy to put this cloak on but it is so easy to put off because of pride. Allow God to work inside of you, mould and refine you for His glory as gold!
