A Good Name Is More Desirable Than Great Riches

Updated: Aug 3, 2020

"A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all. The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty."

Proverbs 22:1-3

Man desire to seek short term plans and quick rewards or return but God's plan is always long term and returns are slow but exceedingly and abundantly bountiful beyond our understanding. Ephesians 3:20 Christianity doesn't represent religiosity, prosperity, or an elitist but relational, good stewardship and humility. A good name for the Lord is foundational for a Born Again Believer of Christ.

Moving through COVID-19 Phase 2, we have to be even more disciplined, obedient and have self-control. Many countries are experiencing a second and third wave of outbreak because of disobedience and rebellion. As a true worshipper and Christian, obedience, and submission to God's command and authorities are our daily bread. Stay with the Word, God's divine blessing is coming for your next phase! Praise God!

To God be the glory!
