Today's Inspiration: Balaam told Balak that he must take heed to speak what the Lord has put in his mouth to speak. Numbers 23:12. All the more as believers we need to speak what God wills us to speak without fear. If every believer does this, how extensive will be His kingdom.
Balaam further stressed that what God has blessed He cannot reverse it as He is Sovereign. How many of us have such fear of the Lord?
It is good to be pleasing to the Lord than to man. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life to turn one away from the snares of death. Proverbs 14:27. Before honour is humility. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom. Proverbs 15:33.
We all depend on mercies of God each day to thrive. Without the mercies of God we are easily ensnared by the devil who is all out to steal our destiny. So build yourself strong in the Lord. He will not fail you nor forsake you. God be praised.
Prayer: Blessed be the Lord for He has heard my supplications. The Lord is my strength and shield. My heart trusted in Him and I am helped. Therefore, my heart greatly rejoices. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
