Today’s Inspiration: “So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 NIV. The worldly point of view and the Kingdom of God is totally opposite, for the former is carnal and the latter is spiritual. Before we know Christ, we perceive God through our own understanding but being baptised in water and spirit, we choose to die to our flesh and sins with Christ at the Cross and resurrect with Him as a new creation to put God and His Word first. Matthew 6:33.

When the disciples followed Jesus, they have to make many sacrifices and difficult decisions. To the world they may seem crazy or even foolish but for the disciples they gained eternal life and accomplished divine fulfilment of God’s Kingdom plan and purpose. Zechariah 4:6. We can’t live a religious life by just knowing Jesus and not following Him by the Holy Spirit. How do we preach to others about a God who sent His only begotten son to die for our sins and to give us eternal life? By living a life of Christ, a new creation whose mind is set on God and not the things of the world. It’s about what He can do and not about what we did. The bible teaches us to do to others what you desire others to do unto you. Luke 6:31. Bless others by how Christ has blessed you, not just by knowing Christ but following and showing Christ. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, change my heart and consecrate it. Draw near to me as I draw near to you. May your peace that surpasses all knowledge and understanding, govern my mind and heart to follow you in all ways. For it’s no longer I who live but Christ lives in me. I shall love and live by how He gave His life for me, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
