Today’s Inspiration: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” Psalm 46:1-3. No one is nearer to us that God himself. He is the rock of our salvation. Psalm 62:1.
Many things are unknown, unexpected and uncertain in these times. The raging war in Ukraine, the surging inflations, the climate changes, the demand of food supplies and a dwelling Covid endemic has caused fears in many souls. But know that all these shall change but God changes not. Malachi 3:6, “He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” Psalm 46:9-11 Do not worry, for your battles belong to God. 2 Chronicles 20:15. Put all your trust in Him for in Him you will be secure. Blessing comes when we call on the Name of the Lord in prayer. Only in the silence, stillness, and secret, we shall find and hear the Lord. He shall fight all your battles and provide for you. Trust Him.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are greater than my thoughts, emotions and strength. You are ever present and powerful to do all things. Let my heart be still and know you changes not. All your promises and plans will not be thwarted and I believe you can make all things work out for the good in my life. Lead me with thy Holy Spirit and let me walk in your light in Jesus' most precious and mighty name I pray, Amen.
