Today’s Inspiration: “A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment. A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart. When the wicked comes, contempt comes also; And with dishonor comes reproach. The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook.” Proverbs 18:1-4 NKJV. Without a strong prayer life, we will become more like the World. We will not be able to overcome sin, lust, temptation and pride without prayer. Prayer is not getting what we want like the world and Idol worshipers. Prayer is seeking the sovereign will of God.

Apostle John recapitulate the Lord’s teachings saying,” Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” I John 2:15-17. Therefore spending time with God in prayer builds up the spiritual presence of God in your heart, the altar of the God. This is where God works His healing, miracles, signs and wonders. Isaiah 8:18. Most powerful anointing of the altar is that it softens, renews, and changes our hearts to repent and forgive. Prayer is the key to bring Heaven unto the earth, opening up sky to bring forth a new refreshing rain for our dry souls, weary hearts, and restless minds. So let’s rebuild the Altar of God. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, only you can change my heart and situations. I just want to come before you on my knees and pray. Quieten my hearts and still my soul. Revive my Spirit once again to draw closer to you. Let me hold unto you tightly and break my alabaster jar so that I can pour out my praise and my substance upon you Lord. Ignite me Lord and let there be fire on my altar again, in Jesus Name, Amen.
