8 April 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.” Isaiah‬ ‭49‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. In our struggles and despair in life many may think that God is not answering our prayers or He is far away from us, or some may think God doesn’t love us but we fail to see the crucifixion of Christ at the Cross of Calvary. What the world needs today is repentance and turning back to the love and bosom of our Abba Father God, through His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. He has paid it all.

This scripture in the Old Testament clearly prophesied on how much God loves us and would give His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and pour out His life so that we may have forgiveness, healing, restoration and reconciliation for our souls. Isaiah 53:5 God has not forgotten us. And He has His grace and mercies for us everyday and they are new every morning as we seek His face. Because of His great love we are not consumed, for His passion never fails. Lamentations 3:22-23. Great is the faithfulness of God who watches over us through all the generations. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭11.‬ ‭God’s love and compassion for us will never fail. 1 Corinthians 13:8.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I thank you for your unfailing, unending, and unconditional love for me. In this Holy Week, I will remember how much Christ has to go through to take the stripes which was meant for my sins. I am forever engraved in the palms of His nail pierced hands and be remembered in my redeemer’s heart, who gave His life for our salvation and sanctification. I am eternally grateful and humbled by His act of love, faith and hope. For by His stripes, I am healed, redeemed and sanctified for His glory, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
