Today’s Inspiration: “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24. Holiness is not about how much good things you have done but how much of your life you have given to Christ. No one can sanctify us except the Blood of Jesus Christ.
In this verse it says “God himself”. It reflects how personal our God who creates the heavens and earth and all creatures, loves us like a Father. Not many people have good fathers, in fact many are fatherless in the World. Psalm 68:5. “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:” Psalm 8:4-6. This is a season to encounter God’s love for you and make changes to your heart. We must be sanctified daily by His Word from the bitterness, resentful and angry emotions which the enemy has caused to destroy many relationships and plunder peace. Only through the love of God, can we forgive. Forgiveness is the key to Abundance in the Kingdom of God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive my anger, bitterness and resentment of those who I have taken offences deeply in my life. I choose to obey your Word and release forgiveness to them individually. Sanctify me with your blessed Word. My desire is to draw closer to you daily in Holiness. May you be greater, and I be lesser, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
