“The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. Whoever sows injustice reaps calamity, and the rod they wield in fury will be broken. The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” Proverbs‬ 22:7-9‬

Christianity is a life of giving. God is the greatest giver. We are created, born and blessed by God to be a Blessing and a Giver. Those who give generously increases their intrinsic value within them. Many in the world are afraid of losing stuff but believers are not fearful of blessing others, especially for the kingdom of God. It is a great honour and privilege. Remember God doesn’t just look at the sacrifice but the heart of obedience.

Christian values also speak about impartiality, equality and fairness. God watches our scales of balance, be it to the poor or the rich, the healthy or the sick. Jesus sees us all as equal and does not ostracise. He loves us all the same and desire we do likewise as His disciples.
