Today’s Inspiration: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”Matthew 7:21. Today the direction of our spirituality is imminent for the outcome of days to come in the body of Christ. Jesus reminded his disciples that works of religiosity or form cannot ensures one’s salvation and eternal life but only doing the will of God does one could. So what is the will of God? It is to live, love and be like Christ, the living word of God. John 14:6.
Being anointed is not just about spiritual gifts but predominantly bearing spiritual fruit of character. It is not how big your ministry is, how much you pray or worship, or even the position you have that will grant you access to heaven. How much of your will is surrendered to God’s will daily? Many struggle in their own will and ways in a vicious cycle and only the by following God’s will in His commandments and wisdom can we break the chains of self into Christ. Remember this, it is not just what you do that pleases God, rather it is who you are deep inside where no one sees. So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I surrender to you all my inner struggles, darkness, and weariness. Let me offer my innermost being as a living sacrifice unto you, with all of my will, and all of my ways. Create in me a pure heart O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
