Today‘s Inspiration: ”Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.“ Proverbs 21:21 NIV. What do we pursue in life? Righteousness and the Love of God, is Christ, the foundation of our faith. Do not be distracted or deceived by the pursuit of worldly or fleshly desires which cause us frustrations and meaningless toil. Don’t focus on self or things so much that we lose focus on God but seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all that we need God knows how to provide for us.
Self-centeredness brings loneliness and emptiness in life. Love is selfless and reveals Christlikeness. Before we judge others, judge ourselves first and before we correct others, let us learn to correct ourselves first. Pursuing Christ is the journey of true spiritual life, growth and formation. The most important relationship is our relationship with God and it reflects our relationship with others. Christ didn’t come to the earth to serve himself but to serve God, His Father’s will to bring salvation, healing and sanctification of our souls. John 4:34. God values relationship more than our sins and our wrongs, for He loves us more than our mistakes and failings like a true father. His love never fails and always saves, heals and provides. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, we are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. Lead me in the Spirit to pursue your love and righteousness, the foundation of your kingdom. Let us walk in the spirit and not in the flesh, and let us please God and not man or self in all that we do. For yours is the kingdom, power, and glory for ever and ever, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
