7 February 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, And those nations shall be utterly ruined. “The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, The cypress, the pine, and the box tree together, To beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I will make the place of My feet glorious. Also the sons of those who afflicted you Shall come bowing to you, And all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet; And they shall call you The City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah‬ ‭60:12-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The condition of the Church reflects the conditions of the Nation, likewise the state of our Soul reflects the countenance of our spiritual life. Proverbs 27:19. Just as the brothers of Joseph came bowing down to Him in Egypt, God is just and righteousness. Through Joseph’s afflictions and dire situations, God manifest His purpose for the salvation, restoration, and reconciliation of the family and the Nation of Israel in a foreign land. Joseph’s heart was pressed but not crushed, prosecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8. He named his two sons as forgiven and blessed, this reflected his deep convictions to be used by God for greater things above self. Our breakthroughs comes when God’s greater purpose and calling captivates our entire heart for others. Faith, strength and courage shall arise again when our love extends beyond ourselves. Christ Jesus is revealed.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I am forgiven because you were forsaken, I am healed because you were struck, and I am justified because you were crucified. You have finished the most difficult task, so that we can be partakers of your great love, righteousness and grace for salvation of souls. We shall be called as City of the Lord, loving beyond ourselves like you, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
