7 April 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Christ is the full image of God, Imago Dei, who had shown to the world that God is not one who is legalistic but one who has the greatest love of all. And He loves us more than anyone on this earth. Today is Passover celebration and we honour how Jesus Christ became the Passover lamb of God at the Cross, who delivered us from all sins, iniquities and transgressions, bringing healing, miracles, signs and wonders. Isaiah 53:5. For only by His grace, a sinner is saved, healed and delivered for eternity and shall become a testimony and blessings to many. A Christian likewise also depicts a selfless life to love one another. John 13:34.

Apostle Paul preached,” In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭14‬. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬ ‭Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, this day we give glory and honour to Holy One and only begotten Son of God Jesus Christ this blessed day who laid down His life 2000 years ago so that we may live a life free from sin, iniquities and transgressions. He was taken up to heaven so that His Holy Spirit can be given upon us and our descendants. He had conquered death and all enemies, so that we may have divine liberty, dominion and victory. Praise God! For the Son who set us free, we are free indeed, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
