6 May 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” Psalms‬ ‭25:1-5‬.‭

Trust is the foundation of all relationships. If we can’t trust God, we can trust no one. Lacking of trust is the root of insecurities which is an emotional bondage of fear. We become perfectionist and always want to be in control and to certain extend manipulative. That’s when we face broken relationships. Many in their early childhood without parental care in their infant years lack trust. We all need healing in trust in many ways and it begins with God’s love, like Christ who put His trust in God despite persecution and crucifixion. Before one can be teachable, one needs trust. Healing comes when our trust in God is complete, restoring all our relationships with His grace and overcome all our fears. Praise Him!

Prayer: O Lord my God, heal my broken heart and my trust. This day I choose to trust you with all of my heart and not lean on my own understanding. Let me know your thoughts for me for my hope and future lies in your hands. Teach me in the way I should go that my love for you grows deeper and stronger each day. Lead me in prayer that I may be filled with your Holy Spirit. Restore me and my relationships with your grace, in Jesus' Name, Amen
