Today’s Inspiration: “Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.” Romans 4:16 NIV. The promises to Abraham’s blessings don't come by the good deeds we do or religious acts we take. Grace is getting what we don’t deserve and Mercy is not getting what we deserve. A regenerated life is not what we can do to change but how much faith we have in Christ, our Lord and Saviour. All promises of God are being released by faith in the spiritual realm. Faith is the point of contact with God.
In Hebrews 11:6, it teaches clearly,” And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Notice that relationship deepens when we are seeking God’s face and not His handouts. Psalm 27:8. Many have challenges in their life is because they have challenges with their parents, in particularly the Father. Because without the father’s love, the image of God is broken in one’s soul and knowing who God is can be difficult. This goes with relationships with others. Our emotional wounds in the family have to be healed for restoration of our souls and renewal of our faith in God, our Abba Father in heaven.
Prayer: O Lord my God, search me and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, lead me Father God in your everlasting and loving way. If I have taken any offences with my father, I choose to seek forgiveness and release my forgiveness. I believe whatever you reveal, you heal Lord all my wounds. Increase my faith Lord to know you as a Father, not just a blessing for I am a child of God, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
