Today‘s Inspiration: “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Ephesians 5:21 NKJV. Being a Christian is not about success, health, or having a good life. We can have all the good things but no have Christ in us. If there is no Christ, there is no Christianity. In fact, the more we know Christ, the more sacrifice is demanded from us. We began to weight the kingdom more heavier than the things of this earth. Why do we see so much divisions, distractions and destruction today in the Nations and also within the body of Christ? There is no deep reverence and submission to God.

When we can’t submit to God, those areas become a dry place for the devil. Without submission, there is no sanctification in Christ. Jesus taught,”To be His disciples, we have to deny ourselves, carry the Cross, and follow Him. Luke 9:23. When we can’t submit, there is pride and it is the playing field of the enemy. Without submission to God, there is no humility. Humility brings honour, healing, restoration and reconciliation into our lives. Without submission, we begin to have money, things or people become idols, which separate us from God. In fact, when we reflect on all our failings and troubles, they all came from pride. To have a godly marriage, parenting, and build strong Christian families, there must be submission to God first. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me of my pride and putting myself or other things or people before you. Let my daily submission to you be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. Let this be my true and proper worship. Let I not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of my mind. So that I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will, in Jesus Name, Amen.
