Today's Inspiration: As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17. This is what friends are for especially in times of need.God had placed us together with complementary gifts to support each other towards success. So do not isolate yourself but be able to get together to complete the task you have been assigned to.
There is none on Earth that has no shortcomings. So do not be overly concerned but do what you can as led by the spirit. Be joyful always and think of all the good things in life and not to gratify flesh. Philippians 4:8. Like Jesus, we come not to be served but to serve, to edify one another and to succeed with each other.
A biblical example is Apollos in Acts 18:24-28 whom Priscilla and Aquila met and explained the way scriptures are to expound even though he was knowledgeable of the scriptures, taught the scriptures accurately and was fervent in the spirit. After he understood, he helped those who believe through grace and vigorously refuted the Jews publicly showing from scriptures that Jesus is the Christ. This is what we are on Earth for. Whatever we boast we boast in the Lord.
Let's use our gifts to glorify Christ that the Word of God will grow mightily and prevailed. Let's make use of our sphere of influence to advance the Gospel. United we stand. God be praised.
Prayer: Thank You Lord for hearing when I call. Lift up the light of your countenance upon us. Place your gladness in my heart and let me lie down in peace and sleep for You O Lord make me dwell in safety. Amen.
