4 May 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo
Today’s Inspiration: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30. God sees not the appearance or works on the outside but he sees the troubled hearts on the inside. 1 Samuel 16:7. One can be successful at workplace or business but a failure in the family, one can even be a pastor but struggling with parenting a prodigal son, one can be a doctor but struggling with cancer. We may not know the resolutions but we know who has the resolutions, and He is Christ our Lord.

The enemy will always cause us to look at our failings, weakness, and pain but the Word of God always lead us to look at Christ, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 One of most powerful revelation of the Cross is how much God loves us to carry our sins, struggles, and sufferings to the Calvary. Jesus laid down His life so we can be raise by His Spirit as a new creation and have all our wounds be given to Him. Don’t worry if you are suffering alone because you are not alone as all our wounds can be lonely. Give it to Jesus and let Him come into your heart and life. He is the Lord who recompense and restore in places we all failed or fall. 1 Peter 5:7. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Let me live not in my past but live in your presence, where there is a fullness of joy in God. You shall be my strength when I am weak and you are my rock when all things are shaken. For I will not fear, for you have not given me a spirit of fear but a spirit love, power and self control, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
